Fort Walton, FL – September 13, 2025 – Eco Clean Marine took their mission to the water this past weekend with the support of MarineMax of Fort Walton, hosting a one-of-a-kind trash pickup event that made a big impact on local waterways.

A total of 24 volunteers turned out for the cleanup, and the response was so strong that organizers had to put a second boat in the water to get everyone involved. Volunteers boarded MarineMax boats and headed out to the islands in Destin, where they collected trash and worked together to protect the coastal environment.

In just 2.5 hours, the team filled 14 five-gallon buckets of trash, leaving the area cleaner, safer, and healthier for marine life and the community.

“This event was a perfect example of how much we can accomplish when passionate people come together with the support of amazing sponsors,” said Courtney Dombroski, Founder and CEO of Eco Clean Marine. “Thanks to MarineMax, we were able to expand our cleanup efforts in a unique way and make a real difference out on the water.”

Eco Clean Marine is dedicated to protecting waterways, beaches, and marine life through hands-on community cleanups. The partnership with MarineMax showcased how local businesses can play a key role in supporting conservation efforts while engaging their communities in meaningful action.
