Gulf Shores, AL, June 14, 2025 — The grassy area near the Hangout wasn’t just buzzing with beachgoers this Saturday. It was buzzing with purpose. Eco Clean Marine hosted another inspiring cleanup, and the results were nothing short of incredible.

In just one hour, 27 passionate volunteers rolled up their sleeves and got to work. Armed with gloves, buckets, and a shared commitment to cleaner shores, they collected an impressive 44 five gallon buckets of trash from the Hangout's grassy area and surrounding spots.

What looked like a regular patch of beach grass turned out to be hiding a surprising amount of litter. It reminded us once again how much trash hides in plain sight. From bottle caps to food wrappers, our team tackled it all.

“Our mission is simple: protect our waterways, one bucket at a time,” said Courtney Dombroski, founder and CEO of Eco Clean Marine. “It’s amazing what can happen in just one hour when people come together with a common goal.”

This event wasn’t just about trash. It was about community, awareness, and the power of everyday people making a real impact. Every filled bucket is a step closer to cleaner oceans and a healthier coast.
