Eco Clean Marine and Ocean Hour of Okaloosa Team Up for a Powerful Cleanup in Destin
Destin, FL — Eco Clean Marine brought community spirit to life on November 15, 2025, during a successful trash pickup at June White Decker Park. With support from Ocean Hour of Okaloosa, the event brought together 17 dedicated volunteers who spent one hour removing debris and restoring the natural beauty of this popular Destin shoreline.
By the end of the cleanup, volunteers collected 9 full five-gallon buckets of trash. What often goes unnoticed in everyday life became impossible to ignore once the team got to work. Plastics, wrappers, and litter hidden in the sand and vegetation were quickly uncovered and removed, proving how much waste blends into the environment until someone chooses to look a little closer.
The partnership with Ocean Hour of Okaloosa added an extra layer of momentum and community reach. Their involvement helped strengthen the mission to protect local waterways and highlighted how shared action can create powerful results for the coast.
This cleanup served as a strong reminder that keeping beaches clean is not a one-time job. It takes consistent effort and community participation to keep debris from entering waterways and harming wildlife. The volunteers who came out showed what happens when people unite with purpose, real, visible change.
Eco Clean Marine extends a heartfelt thank you to the 17 volunteers and to Ocean Hour of Okaloosa for their support, teamwork, and shared dedication to preserving the Gulf Coast.
